Guest Services

The Go-Green Program allows the guest to determine linen exchange frequency and shares the hotel's investment in the practice.

Waste Management

A strong partnership with San Francisco based Recology. Ongoing staff training is conducted to review best practices in recycling, resource recovery, and the zero-waste initiative.

Electricity Efficiency & Storage

Utilization of STEM system to save electricity on-site for later use. All lighting has been updated to 100% LED efficient light bulbs.

Water Conservation

Flow measurement water devices have been installed in all guest room showers and sinks to limit water waste and measure usage.

Social responsibility is woven into the mosaic fabric of beliefs and culture. The goal is to always be a positive force for good and to maintain an equilibrium between the business, the welfare of society and the environment.

PEB 5-Star Promise Statement

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (“Pebblebrook”) strongly supports AHLA’s 5-Star Promise. Our pledge to AHLA complements the practices and policies in place by our hotel operating partners which are designed to ensure that the hotel employees at our owned hotels abide by the law, respect individual rights and do not tolerate sexual harassment of any kind at our properties. We have dedicated a significant amount of resources to assist our hotel operators with sexual harassment awareness training and avoidance programs, in addition to training and resources to prevent trafficking. We will continue to engage without hotel operators to provide the resources to further assist them in ensuring the safety of our hotel employees as well as our guests. Pebblebrook has committed to funding the purchase of hotel employee safety devices for use at all of our owned hotels by 2020. Through our pledge to the 5-Star Promise, Pebblebrook intends to contribute to positive, industry-wide improvements to continue to make hotels a safe place for employees and guests.
